My Favorite Page Builder
Overview
So you didn’t go to school for coding? Yeah, me neither. That’s why I used a page builder to build my sites. 90% of the wesbites you see out there are also built with page builders, so no, this isn’t an easy way out, it’s just a simple tool that helps you create a website that is function, clean and easy for users to navigate. It’s a win-win for all parties involved! Personally I spent months trying out different page builders, Gutenberg, Beaver, paid ones, free ones, you name it, I’ve tried it. The one I like best and recommend to everyone I’ve mentored is Elementor. I paid the small price for Elementor Pro because it was 100% worth it to me to make my own themes. Even though I do know basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript, Elementor was created for those who have zero experience in any coding language.
Why I choose to use Elementor over every other page builder:
- I like to be able to make my sites unique and customizable (not just something generic and boring), which surprisingly is not something most page builders offer.
- Simplicity is my love language, and Elementor is all about simplifying things for its users.
- I wanted the majority of my time to be focused on what was in my website, not building it - Elementor is quick to learn and even quicker to use.
- As a visual learner I wanted to see how to do it - Elementors training is in video format which makes everything very intuitive.
- Ever notice that most sites, blogs and forums have the same layout, text and colors? I knew that I needed to stand out to make money with affiliates, so having the option to customize themes was not just a bonus but a must for me, and Elementor offers that!
How do I start using Elementor, and is it free?
Yes, it is free! Elementor is simple a WordPress plugin, so it’s integrated into your WordPress dashboard! I used the free version for a long time, but I really wanted to utilize all the cool features that Elementor Pro offered, so I upgraded. Looking back, I wish I would’ve upgraded sooner, however it’s great to be able to use it free while you learn the ropes.
